Learning Journal #23

"Aimee Mullins"

In the classes we had talked a lot about discrimination, types of it, racism and how society is affected by this. Aimee Mullins is a sucess women, pretty, has money and yes, she's an handicap person. And so what? She's an handicap but has sucess...Nobody can say, you can't do it, it's impossible, NOBODY.
And the case of Aimee Mullins, it's a case in millions! And you know why? Because she believes in herself, she said ''No Aimee, you won't not give up'' and now, she's a sucess and amazing athlete.

I didn't knew Aimee Mullins, but right now, that I know her case, I admire Aimee. For me, the most important in life it's not give up only because you have obstacles, because who stands up for a reason, who fights for his own happiness are the best...and this kind of people makes me admire them. So, of course I admire Aimee! This was what she did, she fights for the life that she wanted to have, so I just can say, for the most impossible that we think that it's the situation, WE CAN DO IT.
